I’m Erinn

I began my journey in the hospitality industry at just 16, persevering through college while fostering my passion. Seeking new opportunities, I ventured to Boston, where I worked at John Hancock, performed on stage, and appeared in TV commercials. It was in a Rhode Island bar that I met my husband, Rob, who brought this East Coast girl to Ohio in 1999. There, I built a successful team with Mary Kay, but I felt a calling for the thrill of event management. In 2003, after welcoming my second child, I returned to school to become a certified wedding consultant. When Kalahari opened its doors, I embraced the moment and began my journey there while building my dream business, Simply Yours!

I earned my Wedding Planner license through Penn Foster College in partnership with ABC, completing a Master's program through the Wedding Planners Institute. Additionally, I became a certified wedding and floral designer through the Wedding Event Design Institute.

In 2024, now that Rob and I are empty nesters, we decided to fill our home with two lively and adorable poodle mixes, Scotch and Whiskey, who love to follow me everywhere. We have also relocated our business and our lives to Berin Heights, OH, to embark on a new venture. The Iris, by Simply Yours, is set to open in the spring of 2025.
